To mix pistachio pudding into cake batter, combine the pistachio pudding mix with boxed cake mix, add the remaining ingredients, and bake the cake in the oven. If you want the cake to be green, add green food coloring to the cake batter.
- Combine the pudding and cake mix
In a bowl, combine and mix one 4-ounce package of pistachio instant pudding mix with a box of white or yellow cake mix.
- Add the remaining ingredients
To the dry ingredients, add 1/2 cup each of vegetable oil, water and orange juice, along with four eggs. With an electric stand or hand mixer, beat the cake batter on high for two minutes. If desired, add green food coloring to achieve the coloring of pistachios. Grease and flour a Bundt pan, and pour three-quarters of the cake batter into it. If you like, add 3/4 cup of chocolate syrup to the remaining cake batter, and mix thoroughly. Pour the remaining batter on top, and swirl the batter with a knife for a marbled effect.
- Bake the cake
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake the cake for one hour. Let the cake cool for several minutes before inverting the Bundt pan to release the cake onto a plate.
