To keep hot chocolate mixed together, use milk, sugar and vanilla extract. Also add instant coffee, brown sugar and salt to pure cocoa. Garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon if desired.
In a saucepan over a medium heat, warm 1 cup of milk. Once the milk simmers, stir in 3 teaspoons of sugar, 1/8 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 3 teaspoons of pure cocoa. Also include 1 teaspoon of instant coffee, 1 teaspoon of brown sugar and a pinch of salt. Mix for approximately 5 minutes or until all of the ingredients dissolve. Place the combined hot chocolate in a mug, and top with whipped cream and cinnamon.
