One simple way of making vegetable beef soup involves preparing its seasoning blend separately, then mixing the blend with most of the ingredients in a Dutch oven and allowing it to boil and simmer on the stove. The recipe shown below requires simple ingredients and takes only half an hour to cook.
Easy Vegetable Beef Soup Recipe
This simple recipe is made even easier with the use of pre-mixed frozen vegetable ingredients and given a unique flavor with the organic tomato sauce component.

For the soup
- 1 lb. ground beef sirloin
- 1 8-ounce can Muir Glen organic tomato sauce
- 16 ounces frozen mixed vegetables
- 14.5 oz. Italian style stewed tomatoes, chopped and undrained
- 2 1/2 cups water
For the seasoning blend
- 8 ounces refrigerated prechopped onions
- 4 1/2 teaspoons garlic, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Mix the seasoning
- Cook the beef
- Boil and simmer
Mix all the seasoning ingredients in a bowl.
Place the ground beef sirloin in a Dutch oven together with the seasoning blend and place over medium-high heat. Stir occasionally and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until the beef is cooked. Drain.
Add the remaining ingredients into the Dutch oven and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat, cover and let it simmer for around 20 minutes, stirring every once in a while. Serve into six bowls.
