To make sushi without seaweed, you need sushi rice, grilled chicken slices, avocado strips, cucumber strips, 1 Origami Carrot Wrap, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, curry powder and lemon juice. Prepare the chicken and curry sauce. Place the chicken and vegetables on the wrap. Cut the wrap into 8 pieces. The entire process will take approximately 60 minutes.
- Prepare the curry sauce
Blend 1 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, 1/4 teaspoon of curry powder and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice into a blender, and mix. Transfer the sauce into a squeezable bottle. Place any remaining sauce in the refrigerator for up to 6 days. Squeeze the sauce into a bowl for dipping, if desired.
- Prepare the chicken
Grill 3 ounces of sliced chicken cut into 4-inch strips. Brush a light layer of the curry sauce onto the grilled chicken slices.
- Prepare the rice and roll into the wrap
Boil 1/2 cup of sushi rice until it is cooked and sticky. With the shiny portion facing down, position the Origami Carrot Wrap on your cooking space. Place the rice on the wrap, and leave a 1-inch space open at the top of the wrap.
- Place vegetables and chicken on the wrap
Place 2 ounces of avocado and 2 ounces of cucumber that are cut into 4 inch strips on the wrap. Layer the avocado and cucumber slices on the wrap, and top them with the chicken slices.
- Roll and cut the wrap
Roll the wrap, and cut it into 8 1-inch pieces.
