How Do You Make a Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino in Five Steps?

To make an imitation Starbucks mocha frappuccino, simply make your favorite espresso coffee, and mix it with milk, sugar and chocolate syrup. Blend mixture with equal parts ice. To make 8 servings, you will need: 3 cups espresso coffee, 3/4 cup sugar, 4 cups milk, 3/4 cup chocolate syrup, ice, and whipped cream and chocolate syrup for topping.

  1. Make strong coffee

Follow the instructions on your favorite blend of espresso or double strength coffee, and brew. For best results, brew twice the amount of coffee required by your coffee maker or use a Starbucks blend.

  2. Mix frappuccino base

Pour hot coffee into a blender or mixer, and add sugar. Blend until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add milk and chocolate syrup into the blender, and continue mixing for about one minute.

  3. Refrigerate

Pour the blended frappuccino mixture into a sealable container, and store in the refrigerator until ready to use. This mixture is the concentrated base for making frappuccinos, and should not be consumed alone.

  4. Blend with ice

To make frappuccinos, add equal parts chilled frappuccino mixture and ice, and blend on high until smooth.

  5. Pour and serve

Pour blended drinks into glasses, and top with whipped cream. Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
