Southern Comfort punch is made with lemonade, orange juice and lemon-lime soda. Eliminate the need for ice by freezing lemon and orange slices and adding it to the punch before serving.
Southern Comfort Punch
Southern Comfort punch is easy to make and can be prepared well ahead of time.
Prep Time: 2 hours 30 minutes
Ready In: 2 hours 30 minutes
Serves: 12 to 20
- 6 lemons
- 4 oranges
- 2 cans frozen lemonade concentrate, 6 ounces each
- 1, 6-ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate
- 2 liters lemon lime soda
- 1, 1-liter bottle Southern Comfort
- Slice and freeze the fruit
- Combine liquid ingredients
- Add fruit and serve
Line two baking sheets with plastic wrap. Slice the lemons into thin slices and arrange on a single layer on a baking sheet. Repeat with the oranges. Place both baking sheets in the freezer and freeze for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until frozen.
In the meantime, open the lemonade and orange juice and place in a large punch bowl. Add the lemon-lime soda and Southern Comfort and stir to combine. Add ice if desired.
Right before serving, add the frozen lemon and orange slices. Serve immediately.
All of these ingredients can be added to taste and ginger ale may be substituted for the lemon lime soda. For a different taste, try using a frozen banana daiquiri mix in place of the lemonade.
