Make Skor bars with Ritz crackers by combining the crushed crackers with condensed milk and Skor toffee baking chips. Food.com offers baked and no-bake versions of this recipe.
For the baked version, crush one box of Ritz crackers into small pieces. Combine the crackers with a package of Skor English toffee baking chips and a can of sweetened condensed milk. Firmly press the mixture into a buttered 9-by-9-inch baking pan and bake at 300 F for about 20 minutes. Allow the bars to cook slightly, then cut into squares while they are still warm.
To make the no-bake Skor bar recipe, mix the same ingredients together and press firmly into the buttered pan. Refrigerate, and cut into squares. Keep the treats refrigerated to maintain their texture.
You can also pour a layer of melted chocolate chips into the pan before adding the cracker mixture, or drizzle the chocolate on top. Or, add whole chocolate chips to either recipe when mixing in the toffee bits. For easy preparation, crush the crackers in a food processor, then whirl the other ingredients together. The crackers can also be crushed with a rolling pin, either in the sleeve or in a large zip-top bag.
