To make Shake 'N Bake chicken, preheat the oven to 400 F, and moisten chicken with water. Use either six bone-in chicken pieces or six to eight boneless, skinless chicken breasts per seasoning packet. Empty the packet of seasoning mix into a shaker bag, and shake each piece of chicken individually until coated. Place the chicken pieces on an ungreased or foil-covered baking sheet and bake for 30 to 45 minutes.
While the chicken is baking, do not cover the baking pan or turn the pieces. The minimum internal temperature for the chicken to reach to ensure it is fully cooked through is 165 F. Before serving, let the chicken stand for three minutes to cool. Because raw meat products can contain bacteria, do not reuse any leftover seasoning mix; simply discard the bag with remaining mix.
