To make fruit dip, combine 2 cups of yogurt, 1/4 cup of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon in a bowl. Stir well to combine the ingredients, and serve immediately or refrigerate.
Sweetened cream cheese dip is an alternative to yogurt dip. Combine 8 ounces of softened cream cheese with 1 cup of powdered or confectioner's sugar, and whip 1 cup of heavy cream with 1/4 cup of granulated sugar until soft peaks form. Add the cream cheese mixture into the whipped cream mixture, and add the juice of a freshly squeezed lemon to the dip. Thin the dip with pineapple juice to reach the desired consistency while beating continuously.
To make ricotta cheese fruit dip, combine 1/2 cup each of ricotta cheese and vanilla yogurt with 1 tablespoon each of grated orange zest and honey. Blend the mixture in a food processor until it is smooth, and refrigerate the dip for 30 minutes before serving.
You can also make a fruit dip from sour cream. Combine 1 cup of sour cream, 1/4 cup of brown sugar and 2 teaspoons of vanilla, and mix well. Alternately, combine 1/2 cup of sour cream with 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and stir to combine the ingredients.
