To make pudding shots with Baileys Irish Cream, prepare a 3.4-ounce box of instant pudding mix according to the directions on the box, replacing up to 1 cup of milk with Baileys Irish Cream and/or the liquor of your choice. Pour the mixture into small cups and freeze it.
Any flavor of instant pudding mix can be used for alcoholic pudding shots, but full-sugar pudding mix yields the best results.
In a large bowl, add 1 cup of cold milk and 1 cup of the alcohol of your choice. You may supplement the Baileys Irish Cream with a hard liquor, such as vodka or rum, in order to increase the alcohol content of the pudding shots. To create a more complex flavor, mix Baileys Irish Cream with another liqueur, such as butterscotch schnapps, coffee liqueur or a fruit-flavored liqueur.
Alcohol may cause the pudding mix to clump, so it is most effective to beat the mixture with an electric mixer for two minutes or until completely smooth. For extra creaminess, after this step, fold in 8 to 16 ounces of Cool Whip or another non-aerosol whipped topping. You can decorate individual shots with chocolate shavings, sprinkles, fruit or other edible garnishes.
Spoon the shots into small cups and freeze them to set. Alcoholic pudding shots do not set to as firm a consistency as normal pudding shots. Freeze them for at least half an hour, and check to make sure they have reached the desired consistency before serving them.
