Oven Bag Pork Roast
Using an oven bag to cook pork helps to keep the meat from drying out. Since oven bags are discarded after use, they also significantly cut down on clean-up. This recipe for pork roast in an oven bag yields 6 to 8 servings.
Prep Time: 20 min.
Cook Time: 1 hour, 30 min.
Ready In: 1 hour, 45 min.
Step 1: Combine the herbs, pepper and garlic with the soy sauce and lemon juice in a large resealable bag before adding the pork. Place in the refrigerator overnight, turning every so often.
Step 2: In an oven bag, shake the flour to coat the sides. Place the oven bag into a 13-inch-by-9-inch roasting pan.
Step 3: Drain the marinade from the pork and discard. Place the pork into the oven bag with the flour. Make six small slits (around half an inch in length) in the top of the bag and close with a tie.
Step 4: Roast the pork at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 160 F. Remove from the oven and let stand for 15 minutes before serving.Learn more about Meat
