To make pork chops, season them, sear them on both sides in olive oil, add cream of mushroom soup mixed with chicken broth or water, cover the pan, and simmer the dish for 30 minutes. Add a can of mushrooms and cook the pork chops for 10 more minutes.
- Season the pork chops
Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the pork chops. Use approximately 3/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper.
- Sear the pork chops
In a large frying pan with a lid, brown both sides of the pork chops using approximately 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Use medium heat.
- Add cream of mushroom soup mixed with chicken broth
Mix a can of cream of mushroom soup with 1/2 cup of chicken broth or water. Add the mixture to the frying pan. Cover the pan with a lid and allow the food inside to cook for approximately 30 minutes.
- Add a can of mushrooms
Drain and add a can of mushrooms to the pork chops and sauce. Allow the food to cook for approximately 10 more minutes.
- Transfer the food to a serving dish
Arrange the pork chops on a serving platter, and pour the sauce over the top. If desired, top them with approximately 1/2 tablespoon of freshly chopped parsley.
