A tasty, light dessert with a tropical flavor. Pineapple fluff requires no cooking and is easy to make up a couple of hours before a meal.
- 1 cup milk
- 3 cup marshmallows
- 2 cup heavy cream
- 1 15-ounce can crushed pineapple
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Cinnamon powder
- 2 cups graham crackers
- Mix milk and marshmallows
- Whip the cream
- Add the pineapple
- Prepare graham cracker crust
Bring the milk to a simmer. Add in the marshmallows. Stir the mixture until the marshmallows are melted into it. Turn off the stove top and set mixture aside to cool.
Pour the heavy cream into a mixing bowl. Use a beater to whip the cream until it becomes thick. Fold the cooled milk and marshmallow mixture into the whipped cream.
Drain the crushed pineapple. Fold it into the whipped cream mixture. Don't stir too much as this will cause the fluff to lose volume.
Mix the graham cracker crumbs up in a bowl with the butter, sugar and cinnamon. Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of a pie pan. Set aside a small portion of the crumbs. Pour the pineapple fluff into the graham cracker crust and sprinkle the top with the saved cracker crumbs.
