Chicken Broccoli Alfredo

- 8 ounces linguine
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/4 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 1 10 1/2-ounce can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tablespoon ground black pepper
- Cook linguine and broccoli
- Cook chicken
- Prepare the sauce
Boil the linguine as directed on the package until it reaches a firm, but chewy al dente texture. Cook the broccoli in the same pot with the linguine by adding it to the water in the last 4 minutes of cooking time. Drain both and set aside.
Heat a skillet on medium-high heat. Cook the chicken in the skillet until browned. Dice the chicken into 1 1/2-inch pieces.
Keep the skillet on the stove top. Add soup, milk, cheese and black pepper to the skillet. Heat and stir until creamy and warm. Add the linguine, broccoli and chicken back into the skillet and stir to mix. Heat until bubbly and serve.
