To make a margarita with beer, mix beer, tequila and limeade into a large or medium-sized pitcher depending upon the amount you want to prepare. A medium-sized pitcher yields up to 4 servings. Serve the beer margarita over ice immediately, and garnish the glasses with lime wedges if desired.
Start by gathering the necessary ingredients. Collect between two to four 12-ounce chilled bottles of your preferred flavor of beer, a 12-ounce can of frozen limeade concentrate thawed, one lime, chilled tequila, ice cubes, and Kosher or coarse salt. Prior to mixing the drink, you need a large or medium-sized pitcher and four margarita glasses.
Slice the lime into eight wedges, and set four aside. Take the other four lime wedges, and dip them in the salt. Rub the lime wedges around the rims of the margarita glasses, and set the glasses aside. In the pitcher, empty the bottles of beer. Add ½ cup to 1 cup of tequila and ½ cup to the entire can of limeade concentrate. Mix the contents together, fill each margarita glass with ice cubes, and pour the mixed drink over the ice. Trim the glasses with the remaining four lime wedges, and serve at once.
