Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie is made by combining lean ground beef with onion, shredded cheddar cheese and all-purpose baking mix. Milk and eggs round out the ingredients for the casserole, which bakes in a glass pie plate.
Coat a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray and set aside. In a large skillet pan, brown 1 pound lean ground beef and 1 cup chopped onion for eight to 10 minutes. Drain away the meat juices and season with 1/2 teaspoon salt. Transfer the meat mixture to the pie plate and sprinkle 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese on top.
In a small bowl, whisk 1/2 cup all-purpose baking mix, 1 cup milk and 2 eggs, blending well. Pour the mixture over the meat and cheese and bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Make Impossibly Easy Breakfast Bake for a large crowd in 20 minutes. In a large skillet pan, cook 2 packages bulk pork sausage, 1 chopped medium bell pepper and 1 medium chopped onion until sausage is brown. Drain off the grease and transfer to a large greased baking dish. Add 3 cups frozen hash brown potatoes and 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, stirring to blend.
In a bowl, combine 1 cup all-purpose baking mix, 2 cups milk, 1/4 teaspoon pepper and 4 eggs. Pour mixture over the hash brown mixture. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 to 45 minutes, uncovered. Sprinkle the top of casserole with 1/2 cup shreddedCcheddar cheese and bake another 1 to 2 minutes.
