For no-bake peanut butter bars, mix 1 cup melted butter, 2 cups graham cracker crumbs, 2 cups sugar and 1 cup peanut butter, and press the mixture into a 9-by-13-inch pan. Melt 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips and 4 tablespoons peanut butter in a microwave. Spread over peanut butter mixture.
For a twist on traditional no-bake peanut butter bars, make no-bake peanut butter pretzel bars. Beat 1 1/4 cups peanut butter and 3/4 cup softened butter until smooth, then beat in 1 cup powdered sugar. Stir in an additional 1 cup powdered sugar, 3 cups broken pretzel pieces and 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, then press the mixture into a 9-by-13-inch pan lined with foil.
Next, melt 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips and 3/4 cup peanut butter in the microwave, stirring occasionally. Spread the chocolate over the peanut butter mixture, and sprinkle it with 1 cup pretzel pieces. Refrigerate it for three hours until set, and then cut it into pieces.
To make a healthy no-bake peanut butter bar, melt 1 cup peanut butter and 1/2 cup honey together in the microwave, and combine them with 3 cups rolled oats. Press the mixture into a 9-by-9-inch pan lined with foil and sprayed with cooking spray. Refrigerate the mixture until firm, and cut it into squares.
