Bake for one hour, and remove from the oven. When cool, remove the skins from the garlic cloves, and set the skins aside.
Set the oven temperature at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Boil a pot of water, and cook 1 pound of fresh trimmed green beans for six minutes. Drain the water, and place the beans in a bowl of cold water. In a hot skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter, add 1/3 cup of sliced almonds, and cook for four minutes. In a large bowl, combine the beans, garlic, olive oil and almonds.
