Glazed Pecans

This recipe for glazed pecans takes a bit of time to make, but most of that is cooling time. It is an easy recipe and the glazed pecans can be kept for about 2 weeks before eating. If refrigerated or frozen, they can be kept for up to 3 months. The list of ingredients will make about 16 servings.

Cook Time: 10 mins.

  • 2 cups of pecan halves
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. maple syrup or maple-flavored syrup
  1. Preheat the oven
  2. Heat the oven to 350 F.

  3. Prepare the glaze
  4. Melt the butter in a skillet using a medium heat. Then add the brown sugar and the maple syrup. Stir continuously and cook until it bubbles.

  5. Coat the pecans
  6. Add the pecans to the mixture and stir them in well. They have to be fully coated with the mixture. Cook for about 2 minutes.

  7. Bake the pecans
  8. Put the pecans onto a cookie sheet that is lined with parchment paper. Put this in the oven and bake for about 7 mins. The pecans will turn a golden brown color.

  10. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for around 30 mins.
