Make ginger ale punch by combining ginger ale with ingredients such as fruit juice, fruit pieces and alcohol. Serve the punch with ice. Ginger ale punch recipes are available from Martha Stewart, Real Simple and Mr. Food Test Kitchen.
To make Martha Stewart's tropical ginger ale punch, combine 3 cups of orange juice, 3 cups of pineapple juice and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger in a pitcher. Add 2 cups of vodka to make it an alcoholic punch. Chill the beverage for at least one hour. Gently mix in 4 cups of cold ginger ale just prior to serving. Pour the punch into glasses over ice, and decorate the glasses with orange slices.
To make Real Simple's sparkling pineapple ginger ale punch, stir 12 ounces of ginger ale together with 1 1/2 cups of pineapple juice. Include 1/2 cup of light rum if you want an alcoholic beverage. Divide the punch amongst four ice-filled glasses, and garnish each glass with a pineapple wedge.
To make Mr. Food's watermelon ginger ale punch, blend 6 cups of diced seedless watermelon to make a watermelon puree. Transfer the watermelon puree into a punch bowl, and mix in 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of lime juice and 2 teaspoons of grated ginger. Just before serving, carefully incorporate 6 cups of ginger ale, 3 cups of ice cubes and 15 seedless watermelon balls.
