- 2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 3 3/4 cups powdered confectioners' sugar
- 3 cups crisp rice cereal
- 4 cups plus 1 teaspoon shortening divided
- 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup white baking chips
- Combine the ingredients
- Shape into balls
- Melt the chocolate chips
- Dip the balls
- Melt the white chocolate and drizzle over the balls
Combine the peanut butter and butter in a large bowl until it is blended well. Beat the powdered sugar in and blend until smooth. Add the cereal.
Form 1-inch balls using the mixture. Refrigerate the peanut butter balls until chilled.
Melt the chocolate chips with 1/4 cup of the shortening in a microwave. Stir the mixture until smooth.
