To make cookies using pudding mix, beat butter with white and/or brown sugar and pudding mix of the desired flavor. Mix in the eggs, and add in a mixture of flour and baking soda. Mix chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. Drop tablespoons of the dough onto a cookie sheet, and bake in a pre-heated oven for eight to 12 minutes.
Use one package of instant pudding mix, 2 to 2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 cup of softened butter or margarine, two eggs and 1 cup of brown sugar or a combination of 3/4 cup of brown sugar and 1/4 cup of white sugar to make the cookies. Also, use 12 ounces of chocolate chips that are semisweet and 1 cup of chopped walnuts. If desired, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to improve the flavor of the cookies.
Begin making the cookies by preheating an oven to 350 to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix the flour and baking soda together and keep aside. Beat the butter and sugar until the mixture is creamy, fluffy and light, add the pudding mix, and beat to blend well. After adding and mixing the eggs, stir in the flour-baking soda mixture gradually.
Do not grease the baking sheet. Drop the dough, keeping a space of 1 to 2 inches between the drops. Bake until the cookies brown lightly. After baking, cool for about a minute on the baking sheet, and then completely on a wire rack.
