To make a cookie bouquet, you need to arrange decorated cookie pops in a small container embellished with ribbons and tissue paper. You need refrigerated sugar cookies, which are available at any grocery store, as well as lollipop sticks or wooden skewers, a container, cellophane, florist foam, frosting, sprinkles, ribbons and tissue paper.
- Bake the cookies
Make sure the sticks are ovenproof. Preheat the oven to 350 F. If you want your bouquet to have a certain theme, use cookie cutters to shape your dough. Flower cookie cutters or seasonal ones such as Halloween- or Christmas-themed cookie cutters are options to consider. Insert the wooden sticks about 1-inch deep into the base of each cookie. The sticks may overlap. Bake the cookies according to the directions on the package.
- Decorate the cookies
Once the cookies have cooled, decorate them with frosting and sprinkles, according to the theme you have chosen. Wrap each cookie in cellophane paper. Tie a bow on each wooden skewer.
- Assemble the cookie bouquet
Choose a small, clean container, such as a coffee mug, watering can or small vase. Fill it with florist foam. Make sure the foam is lower than the top edge of the container. Insert your cookie skewers into the foam. Fill in gaps with tissue paper so the bouquet looks more full. Add other embellishments like cards, a small soft toy or balloons, depending on the size of your bouquet.
