Make cobbler with cake mix by spreading two 16-ounce cans of peaches in heavy syrup in the bottom of a baking pan and pouring one package of yellow cake mix over the top. Place 1/2 cup of butter chunks on top of the cake mix, and sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon over everything. Bake the cobbler at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes.
To make another recipe, Apple Cobbler Cake, simmer two 21-ounce cans of apple pie filling in a sauce pan at medium heat, and pour it into a baking pan. Blend together one package of butter or yellow cake mix and 3/4 cup of softened butter. Once the cake mixture turns crumbly, set 1 1/2 cups of it aside. Whisk 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 2/3 cup of chopped walnuts into the reserved mixture, and stir 1/2 cup of milk into the rest of the cake mixture. Spoon the batter over the pie filling, and top it with the walnut mixture. Bake the cobbler at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 40 minutes.
Another recipe suggests adding a cream cheese layer on top of the fruit made from 8 ounces of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of sugar, one egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla, pressing half the cake crumb mixture into the bottom of the pan and the other half on top of the cream cheese mixture.
