Chicken Alfredo is made by boiling pasta in a large pot. While the pasta is cooking, melt butter and cream cheese in a skillet. Mix it with chicken, broccoli, zucchini and red peppers. Serve it on top of the pasta.
Start by boiling the pasta in a pot of lightly salted water for about eight to 10 minutes. Drain the water once the pasta is finished.
Melt cream cheese and butter in a skillet while the pasta is cooking. Add milk, and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Stir for about three minutes, or until the consistency is thick and smooth.
Once the consistency is right, mix in chicken, red pepper, broccoli and zucchini. Cook for three minutes over medium heat, reduce heat after the three minutes and let it simmer for about five minutes, or until the vegetables are done cooking. Serve it over the cooked pasta.
Both prep and cook times are about 20 minutes. The meal should take roughly 40 minutes to complete. The necessary ingredients for four servings are: 6 ounces of fettuccine pasta, 8 ounces of cream cheese, 6 tablespoons of butter, one-half cup of milk, one-half teaspoon of garlic powder, two cooked chicken breast halves, 2 cups of chopped broccoli, two small zucchinis, salt, pepper and one-half cup of diced red peppers.
