The following is a simple turkey legs recipe with a four to five-hour smoking time.
Mix the ingredients for the brine solution in a pan, set on a stove and bring to a boil. Set aside and let it cool down to room temperature before adding the turkey legs. Put the pan in the refrigerator for around four to five hours.
Take the turkey out of the brine solution then pat dry. Combine the rub ingredients thoroughly and then coat the legs with the rub.
Put the legs inside the smoker once the temperature reaches 225 to 240 degrees Fahrenheit. Smoke the legs for four to five hours or until the internal temperature of the legs reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Let the meat rest for at least 20 minutes before serving.Learn more about Cooking
