To make Paula Deen's three cheese artichoke dip, begin by preheating the oven to 350 F. Beat 8 ounces of cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth, and then beat in 2 cups of mayonnaise. Stir in 1 14-ounce can of chopped artichoke hearts, 2 sliced green onions, 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, a dash of hot sauce, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper to taste. Place the dip in a gratin dish, and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
To make Alton Brown's hot spinach and artichoke dip, boil 1 cup thawed frozen spinach and 1 1/2 cups thawed frozen artichoke heats for 1 minute. Drain the vegetables. Warm 6 ounces of cream cheese in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir together the cream cheese, vegetables, 1/4 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. Serve immediately.
