The cooking time for bacon-wrapped scallops is around 25 minutes, according to the Food Network. The bacon is baked in a preheated oven at a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

The basic ingredients for the dish are sliced smoked bacon, sea scallops, salt, ground black pepper, unsalted butter and Emeril's Essence Creole seasoning, which is made up of garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, cayenne pepper, thyme, oregano, salt and black pepper.

  1. Bake the strips of bacon and set aside to cool.
  2. Season the scallops and wrap them in slices of bacon.
  3. Skewer each scallop onto a bamboo stick and grill under medium-high heat.
  4. Sprinkle the dish with freshly ground pepper and garnish it with a dab of butter and serve.
