Pick Your Own provides instructions for making muscadine jelly. One can also learn how to make muscadine jelly by visiting the Add a Pinch website.
One needs 5 pounds of fresh muscadine grapes to make the jelly. Wash the fruit thoroughly, and make sure there are no blemished or rotten grapes. Place the fruit in a large stockpot. Once the grapes are covered with water, place them on an eye to cook. Mash and strain the muscadines, and allow them to simmer on the stove. Pectin and sugar are also necessary to give the jelly the correct consistency. The mixture should be canned and the cans placed in water to complete the recipe.
