One good lasagna recipe using uncooked noodles is Mueller's no-boil classic lasagna. Dried raw noodles are layered between cheeses and a meaty sauce, then cooked in a hot oven until the noodles are tender.
To make no-boil classic lasagna, combine a 15-ounce container of Ricotta cheese, 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese and 2 lightly beaten eggs. Mix these ingredients well, and set them aside. Cook and drain 1 pound of Italian sausage or ground beef. Pour approximately 6 1/2 cups of pasta sauce into the meat, and stir it well. Spread 1 cup of the meat sauce into the bottom of a 9-by-13 inch baking dish, followed by 3 or 4 of the raw noodles; the noodles should just overlap.
On top of the noodles, spread about 1/2 of the cheese mixture, and add more of the meat mixture on top of that. Repeat the layers, ending with noodles and the remaining meat sauce. Cover the dish with foil, and bake it for 55 minutes in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven. Uncover the dish, sprinkle the top of the lasagna with 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese, and continue to bake for approximately 5 minutes to melt the cheese. Let the lasagna stand for 15 minutes before cutting and serving it.
