Kraft's bacon-topped guacamole recipe consists of 3 fresh avocados and 1 seeded, chopped tomato, 1/4 cup of Kraft zesty Italian dressing, 8 slices of Oscar Mayer bacon and a jalapeño pepper. Mash the avocados, and combine them with the tomato, jalapeño pepper and Italian dressing. Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Top with 8 cooked, crumbled slices of bacon.
To make the lemon herb-brined chicken, cut up a whole chicken, and remove the skin from every part except the wings. Put the chicken into a resealable bag. Meanwhile, bring 2 cups of water, 4 cloves of crushed garlic, 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons of kosher salt, 4 sprigs of thyme and 2 springs of rosemary to a boil. Add the roughly chopped peel of 1 lemon.
Remove the brine from the heat. Transfer it to a bowl, and add 1 cup of cold water, 1 cup of ice cubes and an 8-ounce bottle of Kraft zesty Italian dressing. Stir the brine until the ice cubes melt. Pour the brine over the chicken. Refrigerate the chicken in the sealed bag overnight.
You can cook the brined chicken any way that you like. However, grilling tends to deepen and improve the brined flavor.
