Char-Broil's 2008 cookbook "Everybody Grills" has more than 200 recipes for grilled or barbecued appetizers, vegetables, main courses, seafood and desserts. It also includes 250 full color photos and information on how to use the grill's infrared searing burner and rotisserie feature.
Other information covered in the book includes instructions for smoking, brining and marinating foods; techniques for "deep-frying" a whole turkey without using oil; tips on cleaning and caring for the grill; and an entire chapter dedicated to sauces, rubs and marinades. Some of the recipes are from winners of some of the top barbecuing competitions in the United States.
Many users described the recipes as straightforward and easy to follow, even for beginners, but the book also includes more advanced recipes that can take several days to prepare. Users also commented that although the book was written for use with Char-Broil's infrared grill and includes tips on infrared grilling, of the recipes are specifically designed to use the infrared feature.
Char-Broil has published other cookbooks for use with its grills, such as "America Grills," "Grill Yourself Skinny," "Grilling Surf and Turf," "Grill Lovers Cookbook," and "Grilling Chicken and Veggies". There is some recipe overlap between the books.
