The menu at Brazzaz featured a selection of some Brazilian dishes and other foods that included fresh salads and vegetable, cheeses, cold cuts, seafood, basmati rice, black beans, top and bottom sirloin, Brazilian chicken salad, Brazilian sausages and bacon filet mignon. As of April 2015, this Brazilian restaurant, which was located in Chicago, is closed, as noted by the Sun-Times. This establishment closed down when a federal labor lawsuit was filed against it.
The Brazzaz was a Brazilian steakhouse that was in business for 10 years before its closure. However, the Zagat and MenuPages websites have menus for this restaurant. The menu shows an extensive listing of vegetable and salad dishes, such as Brazilian potato salad, baby portobella mushrooms, Caesar salad grilled vegetables and heart of palm. The different seafood dishes included shrimp, Scottish smoked salmon seared ahi tuna and oysters.
The Brazzaz also served a variety of cheeses and cold cuts, such as salami, prosciutto and fontinella and manchego cheeses. As a well-known steakhouse in Chicago, this restaurant also had more than 15 different types of meat selections, including ribeye steak, bacon chicken breasts, beef ribs, pork tenderloin, garlic beef culotte, pork ribs and rack of lamb.
Additionally, there was an offering of various desserts, such as Brazilian flan, chocolate lava cake, cheese cake and papaya creme. Some side dishes were cheese bread and caramelized bananas.
