What Are Some Jell-O Pudding Flavors?

Jell-O offers several instant pudding and mousse flavors, including vanilla, chocolate, butterscotch, banana cream, cheesecake, chocolate fudge, coconut cream, devil's food, flan, French vanilla, lemon, Oreo cookies and cream, pistachio, pumpkin spice and white chocolate. Jell-O offers select flavors in its Cook & Serve line.

Cook 'n Serve Jell-O pudding flavors include vanilla, banana cream, butterscotch, chocolate, chocolate fudge, coconut cream, custard, lemon, rice pudding and white chocolate. Jell-O introduced and discontinued a chocolate-flavored gelatin in 1927. In 1936, Jell-O reintroduced chocolate, this time as an instant pudding made by adding milk. Owing to the popularity of chocolate pudding, Jell-O decided to introduce other pudding flavors, including vanilla, tapioca, coconut, pistachio, butterscotch, egg custard, flan and rice pudding.

Jell-O has also introduced several products based on the pudding, such as frozen pudding pops and portable pudding snack cups, including the indulgent Temptations line of snacks. Bakers often use Jell-O pudding in recipes, such as pies and cakes. The pudding has become so popular among bakers that Jell-O has released a Cook 'n Serve pie filling in most flavors. Select Jell-O pudding flavors are also available in fat-free, low-calorie and sugar-free versions. Seasonal flavors are often introduced, such as candy cane and gingerbread.
