To make Chai tea in a jar, mix together 1 cup of nonfat dry milk powder, 1 cup of non-dairy powdered coffee creamer and 1 cup of sugar (add less or more to taste). Add 2 1/2 cups of unsweetened instant tea and 2 teaspoons each of ginger and cinnamon.
To complete the mix, add 1 teaspoon each of cloves and cardamom. You can also add 1 teaspoon of nutmeg and 1 teaspoon allspice if you like these flavors.
Blend the mixture 1 cup at a time in a food processor until the mix is a fine powder. Store in an airtight container. To serve, add 3 tablespoons of the Chai tea mixture to a cup of hot water. If you prefer an extra caffeine boost, add an additional teaspoon of the Chai tea mixture to your regular brewed tea.
