Jamaican rum cream is a cream- and rum-based liqueur that boasts a fruity flavor. Several flavors are available, from wild orange and banana to coconut and coffee. To make brown and beige, a drink recipe that uses Jamaican rum cream, mix together 2 ounces of Jamaican rum cream and 1 ounce of coffee liqueur. Strain out the liquid, and serve it in a cocktail glass.
Make rum cream liqueur at home by adding 1 cup of heavy cream to a saucepan and simmering before stirring in 2 ounces of gourmet chocolate. Stir constantly until the chocolate melts, and then remove the saucepan from the stovetop. Mix 1 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk, 4 teaspoons of instant coffee, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1 ounce of dark caramel syrup into the chocolate mixture. Once everything is well combined, stir in 1 1/2 cups of amber rum and 1 teaspoon of Goldschlager liqueur. Blend everything well until the mixture is emulsified, and store the liqueur in the refrigerator, shaking it well before using if the mixture separates.
Another recipe calls for 1/4 teaspoon of coconut extract and 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Instead of melting chocolate into the cream, bypass this step and use chocolate syrup.
