For even heating, move the top rack to the center position and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line the edges of the pie with aluminum foil to prevent them from burning. Place the pie on a baking sheet.
Bake the pie
Bake the pie for 60 and 75 minutes or until the center of the pie is set but still moves somewhat.
Allow the pie to cool
Remove the pie from the oven and allow it to cool on a rack for about 2 hours. The filling will become set thanks to carryover cooking. Serve immediately, or keep in the refrigerator covered for up to 2 days.Learn more about Desserts
