In addition to hash browns, ingredients in Ore-Ida's cheesy potato casserole include cornflakes cereal, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream. Ore-Ida sunrise casserole ingredients include link breakfast sausage, ground mustard, Mexican cheese blend, red peppers and onions.

To prepare the Ore-Ida cheese potato casserole, coat a 13 by 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine 1 can cream of chicken soup, 2 cups sour cream, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, whisking until well blended. Stir in 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, 1/3 cup sliced green onions and 1 package hash brown potatoes. Mix ingredients together well, and spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

In a separate bowl, combine 2 cups crushed cornflakes cereal and 1/4 cup melted butter. Sprinkle the cereal mixture evenly over hash brown mixture, and bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sunrise casserole makes 16 servings for breakfast or brunch. Arrange 2 packages of breakfast sausage links in the bottom of a large baking dish. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit, turning sausage once during baking. Drain and cut sausage into 1/4-inch pieces. In a large bowl, combine 9 eggs with 3 cups milk, 1 1/2 teaspoons ground mustard, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.

Stir in 1 package hash browns, cooked sausage and 2 cups of four-cheese Mexican cheese blend. Add 1/2 cup diced sweet red pepper and 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions. Transfer the mixture to a prepared baking dish, cover, and chill in the refrigerator overnight. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Uncover and bake for 67 to 70 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cool for 10 minutes, and serve with 2 cups picante sauce.
