Stir in 1 package hash browns, cooked sausage and 2 cups of four-cheese Mexican cheese blend. Add 1/2 cup diced sweet red pepper and 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions. Transfer the mixture to a prepared baking dish, cover, and chill in the refrigerator overnight. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Uncover and bake for 67 to 70 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cool for 10 minutes, and serve with 2 cups picante sauce.
