- 2 lbs. peeled and cut potatoes
- 1 cup Hellmann's Real mayonnaise
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- optional: 2 chopped hard-boiled eggs
Step 1: Boil potatoes in a covered saucepot for 10 minutes or until tender. Drain and cool.
Step 2: Combine Hellmann's Real mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Toss gently with the celery, potatoes, onion and eggs.
Step 3: Serve at room temperature or chilled.
One serving contains 300 calories, 650 milligrams of sodium, 60 milligrams of cholesterol and 21 grams of fat. Hellmann's mayonnaise dressing with olive oil or Hellmann's Best Food brand can be substituted for the mayonnaise.
