Use canned chicken in any chicken dip recipe that calls for cooked chicken. For example, to make a healthy version of buffalo chicken dip, combine 1 cup of reduced-fat or fat-free sour source with 4 ounces of softened reduced-fat cream cheese, 1/2 cup of blue cheese crumbles, 1 teaspoon of white wine vinegar and 1/2 cup of hot sauce in a bowl. Stir 2 cups of drained canned chicken into the other ingredients. Cook the dip in a slow cooker for three to four hours on low, or bake it in a 350-degree oven for approximately 20 minutes until bubbly.
Make a lighter chicken taco dip by combining 4 ounces of reduced-fat cream cheese, 1 cup of light sour cream and 1 ounce of taco seasoning. Add 1 cup of canned chicken, 1/2 cup of reduced-fat shredded cheese and 4 sliced green onions. Bake the mixture in a shallow baking dish for 25 minutes in a 350-degree oven.
