Hawaiian Punch can be combined with Sprite or 7-Up and various fruits, juices or sherbet to create delicious drinks for special occasions, such as weddings, parties and holidays. Rum, gin or vodka may be added to Hawaiian Punch recipes to create a more "adult" beverage.
To create Holiday Punch, mix one can of Hawaiian Punch with one large can each of frozen orange juice concentrate and frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed. Add 2 quarts of Sprite, and pour the mixture over ice. Garnish with sliced orange and lemon rings, fresh strawberries and scoops of rainbow sherbet.
Rosy Glow Punch begins with a small sprig of mint placed in each section of an ice cube tray. Pour apple juice over the mint and freeze, filling as many trays as desired. Mix 1 quart of cold apple juice with 2 cups of Hawaiian Fruit punch and 3 tablespoons of lemon juice. When frozen, place the ice cubes in 12 individual glasses, and fill each glass 3/4 of the way up with the juice mixture. Fill the glass to the top with Sprite or 7-Up.
For Hawaiian Punch Party Punch, combine two 46-ounce cans of Hawaiian Punch with 2 cups of chilled grapefruit juice and 1 cup of grenadine syrup. Mix in one 10-ounce package of frozen, sliced strawberries, partially thawed. When ready to serve, pour in two chilled 12-ounce cans of Sprite or 7-Up and stir. Add ice, and float orange slices on top.
