Guavas are said to taste like a combination of a pear and a strawberry. In addition, they are apple or pear-shaped and act as thirst quenchers.

According to The Fruit Pages, the guava can be compared to having a combination of pear and strawberry. The guava is a tropical fruit with edible seeds that comes from a guava tree that can grow up to 12 centimeters long. This tropical fruit has a light yellow or green skin and a white, pink or dark red flesh. It is rich in vitamin C and iron. Many of the world's guavas come from India, Brazil or Mexico.
