The ingredients for green chile sauce include canola oil, Spanish onion, a large jalapeño pepper, a clove of garlic and flour. Also required are chopped and roasted green chiles, white vinegar, sea salt, cracked black pepper and lime juice.

Green chile sauce takes five minutes to prepare, and the cooking time is 15 minutes. First, add the canola oil to a pot over medium-high heat.
