Some highly-rated Jell-O desserts are Kraft's Summer Berry Cheesecake Pie and Creamy Layered Squares. The Summer Berry Cheesecake Pie combines the traditional flavors of cheesecake with strawberry Jell-O and real fruit. The Creamy Layered Squares have tiers of graham cracker crust, whipped cream filling and lemon Jell-O.
To make Kraft's Summer Berry Cheesecake, whisk together an 8-ounce package of softened cream cheese and 2 tablespoons sugar, then stir in 1 cup Cool Whip. Spread the cream cheese mixture on the bottom of a pre-made graham cracker crust. Stir together 3/4 cup boiling water and a 3-ounce package of strawberry Jell-O until dissolved. Add in 1/2 cup ice cubes, and stir until the ice melts. Place 1/2 cup blueberries and 1 1/2 cups halved strawberries in single layer in the middle of the pie.
To finish the pie, pour the Jell-O over the fruit and refrigerate for three hours. Top with the remaining 1 cup Cool Whip.
For Kraft's Creamy Layered Squares, combine 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and 6 tablespoons melted butter, then press it into the bottom of a 13-by-9-inch pan. Mix together two 8-ounce packages softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup milk, then spread it on top of crust. Whisk together two 3.4-ounce packages of lemon Jell-O and 2 3/4 cups cold milk, then pour it over the cream cheese mixture. Top with a 8-ounce package of Cool Whip, and refrigerate for four hours.
