Kraft offers several Velveeta dip recipes with fewer than five ingredients, two of the most highly-rated being a spicy cheeseburger dip and a chipotle dip. Both of these recipes take less than 20 minutes to prepare and make at least 20 servings.
To make the spicy cheeseburger dip, cook and drain 1/2 pound of hamburger meat. Combine 1 pound of Velveeta cheese cut into 1/2-inch cubes, 1 undrained, 10-ounce can of diced tomatoes and green chilies, 1 cup of low-moisture, part-skim mozzarella, and the cooked hamburger meat in a large microwaveable bowl. Microwave the mixture on high for approximately five minutes, or until the Velveeta is melted. Stir the mixture after three minutes in the microwave. After the mixture is well-blended, stir in 4 sliced green onions and serve.
To make the chipotle dip, cut 1 pound of Velveeta cheese into 1/2-inch cubes. Mix the Velveeta cheese with 2 tablespoons of chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Microwave the mixture on high for five minutes, or until the Velveeta is melted. Stir the mixture after three minutes in the microwave. After the cheese is melted and the peppers are well-blended, stir in a 16-ounce container of sour cream.
Both recipes recommend serving the dip with crackers and cut-up fresh vegetables.
