To make Food Network's recipe, combine 1 pint blueberries, 1 pint hulled and sliced strawberries, and 2 pints raspberries in a bowl. Toss with the juice of half a lemon. Add 1/4 cup sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch and the juice of half a lemon. Add the mixture to a saucepan, and cook over medium-high heat for three minutes. Take off the heat, and set aside.
In a bowl, whip 1 quart whipping cream, 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract until it forms soft peaks. In another bowl, add 11 ounces lemon curd, and add a little bit of the whipped cream. Fold into the rest of the whipped cream.
In a large glass bowl, spread a layer of lemon cream on the bottom, and top with a layer of store-bought pound cake that has been sliced 1/2-inch thick. Break the slices if needed to fit. Add a layer of the berry mixture and the juices, and repeat for three or four more layers. Finish with a final layer of lemon cream, and serve.Learn more about Desserts
