Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean. Remove the brownies from the oven, and let the pan cool on a wire rack.
To make the brownies from AllRecipes.com, preheat an oven to 350 degrees F, and grease and flour an 8-inch square pan. Melt 1/2 cup of butter in a large saucepan. Remove the butter from the heat, and stir in 1 cup of white sugar, two eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix in 1/3 cup of cocoa, 1/2 cup of flour, and 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and baking powder. Spread the batter into the prepared pan, and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
