To make the Shiner Bock bread, gather 1 1/2 cups flat Shiner Bock beer, 2 1/2 cups wheat flour, 2 teaspoons dry active yeast, 1/4 cup lukewarm water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Also gather 1/4 cup honey, 1/4 cup of vegetable oil and 1 1/2 cups regular flour.
Dissolve the yeast with the warm water and stir in the honey. In a separate bowl, mix together the two types of flour and the salt. Stir in the oil and add in the flat beer. Mix all of these ingredients together and place the new dough on a floured surface.
Knead the dough for 15 minutes and finish when it is smooth and spongy. Place the dough into a lightly oiled bowl, and cover it with plastic until it doubles.
When the dough is ready, punch the middle and allow it to rest for five minutes before dividing it into four equal parts and shaping into round loaves. Score these loaves twice about 2 inches apart and 2 1/2 inches long. Cover these loaves loosely with plastic wrap until they double in size, and then place them in an oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
To make the butter, combine a stick of butter with 2 tablespoons of condensed milk and 1/4 cup honey. Mix these in the food processor and refrigerate.
