Food Network and AllRecipes.com provide good recipes for spicy avocado guacamole. The recipes differ and include spices such as cayenne and jalapeño pepper to add heat to the guacamole.
The Food Network recipe includes 2 Haas avocados, halved, pitted, and diced in their shell. It also includes 1/2 of a thinly sliced red onion, 1 finely diced jalapeño pepper, 1/2 bunch of coarsely chopped fresh cilantro and the juice of one lime.
Remove the diced avocado from its shell into a bowl. Mash the avocados with a fork. Add the other ingredients. Add kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper for additional flavor.
The AllRecipes.com recipe includes 3 large avocados that are peeled, pitted and diced. It also includes one chopped tomato, two finely chopped green onions, 1/2 of a juiced lime and one clove of minced garlic. Add 1 teaspoon of sour cream, 1 teaspoon of white vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and 1/4 teaspoon of ground cumin. Add salt and ground black pepper for additional flavor.
Mash the avocados in a bowl. Add the other ingredients with the avocados, and mix them. Cover the ingredients with plastic wrap, and refrigerate them for about 30 minutes to blend the flavors.
