To make Taste of Home's recipe, cream 1/2 cup of butter and 3/4 cup of sugar. Beat in 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of half-and-half and 1 teaspoon of grated lemon peel. Mix 1 1/2 cups of flour with 1/2 cup of crushed lemon drops, 1 teaspoon of baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Slowly mix the dry mixture into the wet. Drop teaspoonfuls of the dough onto greased baking sheets, and bake at 350 F for 8 to 10 minutes.
To make Sawdust Girl's recipe, mix 1 package of lemon cake mix with 2 eggs, 1/3 cup of vegetable oil, juice from 1 lemon and 1 package of unsweetened lemonade Kool-Aid. Drop teaspoonfuls of the dough into a bowl of powdered sugar and roll until coated. Transfer to cookie sheets, and bake for 7 to 9 minutes at 375 F.
To make All the cook's recipe, mix 1 package of lemon cake mix with 1 beaten egg and the zest and juice of 1 lemon. Fold in 8 ounces of whipped topping. Drop teaspoonfuls of the dough into a bowl of powdered sugar and coat completely. Transfer to cookie sheets and bake for eight to 12 minutes at 350 F.
